I think that this is a very inspirational presentation. For example, he is telling stories in three minutes. He's motivating people to change the way they think of people and help change others. Also, he made connections to his own life to make the viewers emotional. For example, people were mean to his mom when she was on the side of the street. The style of his performance was perfect. He interprets body language to engage the audience and uses his voice to make it feel like the viewers themselves were there. He chose words that sounded so good together and explained everything he wanted to. In the end I believe that his style, his language and his message was inspirational and teaches people that just because others made a mistake we don't need to fight and treat others poorly.

  2. We think that his message was showing that people should not discriminate a certain race or religion for something they did a while back (the twin towers)and start thinking everyone involving that race or religion will do the same thing. We also think that his style was a very intriguing way to acquire the attention from young kids and teens, to not distinguish people of the Muslim religion or any other different race/religion for something terrible one or two people did a long time ago. -Novakovich (Hannah,Madalyn)

    1. I strongly agree with you because as he shared this message he was veary inspirational and truthful. In the video he also mentioned that he did not Injoy it when his people were discriminated agansed which was a clear indication that he would like if people being distinguished baced on there race/religion would stop, as you said. People may have done bad things a long time ago, but as the new genorations on those people begin to grase the earths surface thay have/will learn that taking things out on a hole race is not an effective way to solve an issue with a single person/people of that race.

  3. This grade 8 class thinks it's powerful because it's a true story of his life. It's aimed at students our age because as we get older and are offered more choices, we need to make good decisions. Wali Shah is helping to achieve that. His language is effective. His pacing works well when he says, "Stop! I don't want to fight."

  6. What i like about his message is that he is using examples of cruelty and even though he wanted to hurt the people and get back at them he didn't and he held himself back and did the right thing. mr. novacovich

  7. The meaning behind this video is change and bullying. His body language and emotions show that he wants to change the world. The most upsetting part of this video is when he said that someone came and throw coffee on his mom and drove off saying "go back to were you came from terrorist" which is a really upsetting moment to remember. To change the world he doesn't only want to do it himself he wants everyone to help him which can make a big difference. -Eylem.F (Duff)
